Anaphylaxis first aid community

This modular course is for anaphylaxis training in the community. This course is appropriate for patients and their carers (including family members), sporting clubs, playgroups, workplaces, and anyone in the broader community with an interest in anaphylaxis training.

It is essential that this course is completed in conjunction with practice using all available brands of adrenaline trainer devices. You may be able to access adrenaline trainer devices at a pharmacy near you, or by contacting your local patient support organisation:

  • Following successful completion of the course you will have access to the Certificate of Completion. 
  • You may undertake this course at your own pace but it is recommended that you complete all modules within a two week period.
  • If you do not complete the course in one session and wish to exit, when you choose to return you should have the option to resume from the last point reached or start from the beginning.

Updates in 2026 ASCIA e-training courses include: 

  • Major changes to the 2026 ASCIA Action Plans for Anaphylaxis and ASCIA First Aid Plan.  
  • Information about newly registered adrenaline devices; Jext® (adrenaline injector) and neffy® (adrenaline nasal spray). These devices have been TGA registered and are expected to be available in Australia in 2026.
  • Improvements to e-training content and images.
