ASCIA has worked
with a world leading video production company, Laundry Lane, to adapt the popular ASCIA Anaphylaxis Refresher e-training course for schools, children’s education/care and community into a new video format.
The new ASCIA anaphylaxis refresher video provides training which:
- Has been developed by ASCIA, the leading experts in allergy and anaphylaxis education and training
- Enables accessible and hands-free learning that takes around 16 minutes to watch
- Can save a person’s life
ASCIA Anaphylaxis Refresher e-training for schools, children’s education/care and community will continue to be available here
This course should only be used for interim refresher training and does not replace the comprehensive ASCIA anaphylaxis e-training courses for schools, children's education/care, community and health professionals, which take around one
hour to complete.
This course has been:
- Developed by the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA), the peak professional body for allergy and clinical immunology in Australia and New Zealand.
- Supported by ASCIA and the National Allergy Strategy, a partnership between ASCIA and Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia (A&AA), the peak consumer body for allergy in Australia
- Supported by funding from the Australian Government.
A certificate confirms successful completion, which requires course participants to:
- View the video
- Complete the quiz and obtain 100% for the quiz
- Complete the Feedback.
Time to complete: Video viewing time 16 minutes plus Quiz time which may vary for each individual 2 -3 minutes.
